Development stages and special events

+ 1999:
- On July 16, 1999, the Board of Shareholders had a meeting to approve the company regulations and company organization, electing Board of Management & Board of Supervision... Vinalink is a Joint Stock company with 10% state-owned, and 90% individual-owned, starting capital VND8 billion.
- July 16, 1999 was chosen as Vinalink date of establishment.
- On September 1st, 1999, Vinalink officially started its operations.

+ 2000:
- On March 7, 2000, Vinalink joined Viet Nam Freight Forwarders Associations (VIFFAS)
- On April 5, 2000, Vinalink became member of Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
- On June 24, 2000, DNV (Norway) certified Vinalink to be qualified for ISO 9002, now called ISO9001:2000

+ 2001:
- On January 01, 2001, Airfreight department was officially opened.
- On September 01, 2001, Logistics department was officially launched.

+ 2002:
- Vinalink became member of International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA - “Fédération Internationale des Associations de Transitaires et Assimiliés”)
- On May 13, 2002, Vinalink tripled its capital to be VND 24 billion

+ 2003:
- June 2003 : Vinalink invested into Konoike Vina to be one of the three owners.
- In October 2003, Vinalink and Freight Consolidators Pte Ltd (Singapore) established Freight Consolidators JV (Viet Nam), specializing in GSA for British Airways, Royal Brunei Airlines...

+ 2004:
- Launched branch office in Viet Nam – Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP, Binh Duong province).
- In September 2004, Vinalink celebrated its 5th year anniversary and receiving the Labor Medal 3rd prize, granted by Vietnam President.
- In November 2004, Vinalink launched its bonded warehouse at 145 Nguyen Tat Thanh street, District 4, HCMC.
- In December 2004, Vinalink and other two partners established V-Truck Co., Ltd.

+ 2005:
- On January 1st, 2005, Vinalink launched Ha Noi Branch.
- On April 01, 2005 Vinalink, SGN and RCL (Singapore) established RCL Co., Ltd (Viet Nam) in which Vinalink owns 45% capital.
- On August 1st, 2005, Hapag Lloyd Co., Ltd (Viet Nam), a joint-venture between Vinalink and Hapag Lloyd (Germany) started operations.
- August 2005, Vinalink increased its capital to VND 36 billion.
- On September 15, 2005, Vinalink was lisenced to provide multimodal transportation by Ministry of Transport.

+ 2006:
- On September 4th, 2006, Vinalink officially launched its local express service – Vinalink Express.

+ 2007:
- In April 2007, Vinalink increased its capital from VND 36 billion to VND 90 billion.
- In October, Vinalink and Freight Consolidators Pte Ltd (Singapore) joined to establish LCM Co., Ltd (Viet Nam) specializing in international transportation agency.

+2008:
- In October 2008, Vinalink was awarded Golden Cup “Viet Nam leading corporation 2008” by Vietnam Association of Securities Business (VASB), Credit Information Center – Central Bank, Securities Magazine of Vietnam Securities Commission and some related organizations and offices.
